Sherwood – Armada XP Development Kit

 

The Sherwood Development kit is a Highly Integrated Multi-core ARMv7 based SOC development/evaluation platform based on the high performance Marvell’s Armada XP MV78460 ARMv7 Quad core with integrated 2MB L2 cache that can runup to 1.6 GHz.
The module comes as a complete development kit, including a carrier card offering access to the various SoC interfaces. The system enables users to design and develop innovative embedded products based on Marvell's MV78460 processor. The system has 2GB (256M x8) DDR3 RAM and 4GB NAND Flash. The System can be used by developers as is, or Pactron can provide customized industrial designs, hardware and software for your specific needs.

  • Linux 3.2.34 ARM Linux Kernel
  • 64 bit DDR3 SDRAM running at 667 MHz clock rate + 8 bits of ECC
  • 8-bit 4GB NAND flash boot support
  • 2 SATA Hard Drive Interfaces
  • 4-bit SD Card Interface
  • Two 10/100/1000Base-T interfaces, via RJ45 connector, based on Marvell 88E1510 PHY
  • Six PCIe x1 Mini-PCIe Interface
  • Two PCIe x4 Interface
  • Six USB 2.0 Ports: two native, and four via an on-board Hub
  • Three RS-232 UART Interfaces, via DB9 connector
